Biogeographic distribution
Pseudobiceros bedfordi was first described by Laidlaw in 1903. They are restricted to the tropical and sub-tropical waters of the Indo-West Pacific region.
Local Distribution
In Australia, they have been spotted swimming on the reef flats and lagoons of Heron Island in the Great Barrier Reef.
Global Distribution
They have been seen along the coast of Guam, Papua New Guinea, Indonesia, Thailand (Newman, et al., 2003; Seifarth, 2002) Singapore, Philippines, and Micronesia (Tan, 2008).
